The assessment process
Step 1: Get in touch
Aim: Schedule our first meeting and collect necessary information, including existing diagnoses and completing online forms. Contact us via the form on our website, email, or call 0493 452 305.
Fee: An initial $500 appointment booking fee applies; it’s partly refundable if no further assessment occurs.
Step 2: Intake
Aim: Figure out what needs to be assessed. The first meeting involves a clinical interview, a needs assessment, and addressing your questions. We’ll decide together at the end of the session if any assessments are needed and which ones to use.
Fee: Pay the full assessment fee to confirm and schedule your next appointments.
Step 3: Assessment
Aim: Conduct psychometric tests and related activities to get supporting diagnostic data. Most will be in person at our praxis. We’ll confirm the frequency and duration after your first appointment.

Step 4: Diagnosis
Purpose: Talk through the diagnosis and complete the report. Before we write the report, we will get together and discuss the findings with you. This step is just as important as the others. This session will cover our findings, what it means to you, and your next steps. When finished, a report copy will be distributed to you and any other professionals you choose.
